Biography of Harry Bergollo
Harry Bergollo is a Second Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do under Master Velazquez.
His training started in Boxing at the age of 5 yr old in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico under the tutelage of Titi Freites and Sixto Escobar. His training includes Tae Kwon Do, Bubishi, Boxing and some expertise in Grappling. Mr. Bergollo is a veteran of the armed forces who served in Desert Storm as a member of the 50th Signal Battalion Airborne unit tasked with the support of the 82nd Airborne Division and the 5th Special Forces Group. He is qualified as a Combat Lifesaver, S.E.R.E (Survival, Evasion, Resistance & Escape), Paratrooper, Multi-channel Communications Operator & Special Operations Radio Operator. During his active duty years Mr. Bergollo was stationed in Ft. Bragg in the Special Operations community. He also trained under Command Sergeant Major Jackson in Kick Boxing and traditional TKD.
Mr. Bergollo holds a Master Degree in Business Administration, with concentration on Construction Management, and a Masters of Science, in Multi-channel Communications Systems. In addition he holds United Nations Certifications as a Project Manager and Communications Specialist and is a member of NASP (National Association of Safety Professionals).
Mr. Bergollo has been a student and instructor of Master Velazquez TKD for 6 years and has been a part of the Master Velazquez Tae Kwon Do Institute from it’s creation, earning his Black Belt and his Instructor Certification as Sabunim under Master Velazquez in June of 2006. He is responsible for curriculum instruction, grappling while he is also the captain of the competition team. In addition he is a qualified Kick International National Referee. |
